We have being called to be servants of the most high. To spread the Gospel to all the corners of the earth because the heart of the Gospel is being a servant. So how should we act around others? Well we must be able to act and think Christlike. This means we must sustain from fighting, arguing, getting angry, lying, and cheating at and to others because that is not living a Christlike life.
We must make a difference in today’s society by speaking the truth and honoring our God with our works. By loving each other and, most of all, by forgiving each other. Forgiving doesn’t mean to just don’t bring the past into arguments but it means to completely erase those bad memories from your brain and treat your spouse or friends like nothing ever happen. Only then people will be bless with our presence and will feel attracted to be like Christ.
To be a good servant we must also check our hearts. Most of the time our problems start from our hearts. We let things get to us and become angry or bitter at our present situation. Well we must learn to control our feelings and love like Christ love us to be able to have a change of heart. We must seek the Lord and ask in prayer to replace our hard and heavy heart with a new one that has being washed with the Holy Spirit and protected by God’s love.
How do I keep my heart right with God?
We have to keep our hearts tender. We can’t have a hard nor shallow heart nor have your heart filled with things from the world. Often times we need a breaking point to be able to change the condition of our hearts. God needs to then come in and conquer your heart and make it new.
Material things will indeed have an effect in your life. Too much of the worldly things will put your eyes away from being focus on the things of the Lord. Let’s try to keep ourselves humble and down to earth. Don’t lust over things that will not add any heavenly value in your life.
Never take advantage of people’s situation to plant a bad seed and take other people’s woman or man making them sin and pushing them to divorce. Remember if your relationship starts bad, it will end bad. Also since you won’t have the blessings of our heavenly Father and you will make the woman or man to commit adultery, you will be punish. This is a great deal now a days and we must re-focus and make sure we understand that a marriage is for ever and people that are marry are forbidden to us.
Servants are Obedient
Many couples are saying now a days that they don’t like their spouses anymore. That they need time alone apart from their marriage. Look deeply into each other’s hearts and be truthful with each other. There is no break on a marriage and no! Time outs are not valid when God has bless a man and a woman together in Holy matrimony then stay together and work your differences. Serve each other and be obedient to the word of God. Humble your heart to serve and love each other in a daily basis.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eye service as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart
King James Version (KJV)
You may not love your job nor your boss but we must obey them and work hard as we are representing our Heavenly Father and don’t murmor but serve people every where with a smile in your face. Bringing happiness to your work place, your home and everywhere you go.
How do I make my heart ready for giving?
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:7
New King James Version (NKJV)
This is hard for people to follow, since not many feel ready to give for the Kingdom. Best advice that I could give is to pray for God to prepare your heart for giving. When you feel God has work in your heart and you fully understand the word, then you will give cheerfully. God knows your heart and He will accept your offering only when you give from your heart and are not forced to do it. If you feel you must give then your heart is not ready yet. Our God will multiply your giving and will bless your life because your time or money will help the word of God to be spread to many that need to hear it.
Now giving could also include serving in a ministry, giving and dedicating time to help others, giving your best effort at work and at home, dedicating time to read, understand, and teach the word of God. Whatever you do just make sure your heart is in the right place and serve with love and expect nothing in return. God knows your heart and He will give you the knowledge and wisdom to fully understand this if you ask this in prayer.
Having a heart of God
For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.
1 John 3:20-21
New King James Version (NKJV)
We, as human beings, often make mistakes. When this happens don’t spend too much time punishing yourself for falling but try to get back into fellowship with the Lord and ask for forgiveness. The heart is our alarm in the cases before we are about to do something wrong, feel your heart and you will notice it tries to warn you about a mistake you are about to do or say. If that ever happens and you do go back to your old self, remember that God is greater than your heart and He could make you new so get back into fellowship and worship the Lord your God as soon as you can. The pleasures of this earth don’t last but the love of God is an everlasting one.
We hope you were bless with a few key points that we brought up today. We are going to keep talking about the heart in the following blog post and we hope that you guys take notes and apply the suggestions in your daily life. Keep in mind that no one is perfect and as long as we all look at the same creator, follow the same gospel message, and implement it the same way in our life then we will have a better Christlike life in this temporary world we live in. May the Lord bless you and your families we ask this in Jesus name!
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in”
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
